Heating Rebate Scheme

Unfortunately the Boiler Scrappage scheme has closed, as the £50m of funding set aside for the program was fully utilised. But - We are still doing heating work under the Warm Front Over 60s Heating Rebate Scheme.

This follows the 5th December 2005 announcement by the Chancellor in his pre-budget announcement regarding Government's intention to offer a £300 grant to pensioners who would not otherwise be eligible for Warm Front.

If you are over 60, own or privately rent your home and do not qualify for a Warm Front Grant because you do not receive a relevant benefit, you may still be eligible for a £300 rebate.

This rebate is available to help towards repairing or replacing an inoperable system or installing a new central heating system where there is none existing at the property. The cost of work must be over £300 Inc VAT and is only available in English Local Authority Areas.
