Plumbing Services
Our plumbing services include most works whether it is replacing a burst pipe, installing a complete bathroom or installing a complex wet room with steam shower.
Please remember that it is now important that most plumbing work is registered with building regulations.
All our plumbing work is notified / certified through the Competent Persons Scheme, thus saving the client the inconvenience, expense and delay in having to obtain permission themselves for any plumbing work undertaken.
All homes being sold from June 2007 have been subject to a local search which will detail if works on plumbing and heating systems have been approved by buildings control or correctly fitted by a Competent Persons Approved Supervisor. Please see the CPS website link for full description of the Competent Persons Scheme (CPS).
90% of plumbing and heating works now require notification to your local building control officer under Building Regulations; and only like-for-like replacement is acceptable without notification.
RS Heating and Building Co have plumbers who undertake work on the following:
- Repairs to hot / cold water systems
- Shower, bath, wash hand basin, toilet and bidet installations
- Plumbing of all domestic appliances
- Fitting of outside taps
- All plumbing work in accordance with the latest water authority regulations
Be assured that with RS Heating and Building Co you are getting trained and competent plumbers under the Competent Persons Scheme. This can guarantee you that the work carried out will be notified to your local authority, but it also gives you the reassurance that the plumbing and heating engineer has been vetted annually and his or her work checked randomly by CPS Certification Officers.
We also fit Vaillant and Worcester Bosch equipment and are approved service agents for Vaillant and Worcester Bosch boilers and systems.
