Everyday heroes

A new short film highlights the extraordinary, everyday work that Gas Safe registered engineers do. Whether it’s because of a lifeless boiler, a cold oven or a dead fire, people call gas engineers every hour of every day. The film features real-life gas engineers going about their business, from the moment their phone rings to arriving at their customer’s house, showing their Gas Safe ID card, and fixing the problems they find there.

Stars of the film and real-life gas engineers John Delargy, Helen Williams, Grahame Cumming and Grant Gray might only be doing their jobs – but to their customers, they’re heroes.

The film, made by Gas Safe Register, highlights the important role that gas engineers play in keeping their customers safe. Chief executive Russell Kramer says: “It’s part of Gas Safe Register’s job to promote the great work that engineers do every day – and it’s something that we’re delighted to do with this film all about you, the everyday heroes.”
